The Brabazon family have been living at Killruddery since 1618 and today three generations live in this historic house and estate, located outside Bray in Co. Wicklow.
The Earls of Meath (of the Brabazon family) were responsible for the creation of Killruddery gardens. The formal layout was conceived by the French gardener Bonet, a disciple of the great landscape designer André le Nôtre, in 1682.
Notable features include the Walled Garden, the Angles, the Long Ponds, the Wilderness, the Sylvan Theatre, Lime Walks, Tea Room and the Beech Hedge Pond.
Killruddery Yard is open year round and is home to Killruddery’s Farm Shop, Grain Store, Dairy Yard Coffee Shop and Killruddery Wood-Fired Pizza. Open daily with free parking and admission.
